The latest details and spoilers for "Deadpool 2" will feature Leslie Jones as Wade Wilson's sidekick and Quicksilver and Taskmaster added to the sequel.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the possible appearance of two Marvel characters in "Deadpool 2" movie as Quicksilver and Taskmaster are hinted to join the sequel.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" star Evan Peters wants his character Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver to team up with the Merc with the Mouth as he told TheWrap that seeing them both in the same room will be "fun" to see. Peters added that he also desires to have a solo movie for Quicksilver, but it will take like three years to do so.
With success of the first "Deadpool" film, fans wanted to see more of Wade Wilson interacting with other X-Men members in the sequel similar to Colossus (Stefan Kapičić) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand).
In fact, the film's star Ryan Reynolds stated before that he wanted a Deadpool/Wolverine team-up film with Hugh Jackman and he would do whatever it takes to convince Jackman to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie to that point that he would like is internet friends to back him up on his idea.
Reynolds admitted that he did not want to have Deadpool in the "Logan" spin-off film as he tweeted that the third "Wolverine" film will be unique and perfect on its own and adding Wade Wilson in it will not work.
As for Taskmaster, co-star Ed Skrein stated in an interview that Taskmaster could face Deadpool in the sequel as he explained that having the character interact with Wade will be funny and that Taskmaster has no morals compared to the Merc with the mouth.
Both Deadpool and Taskmaster have faced eact other before in the comics, as Taskmaster admits at one point that Deadpool is difficult to beat due to his chaotic and unpredictable personality.
In other news, "Ghostbuster" star Leslie Jones wants to play Wade Wilson's (Reynolds) sidekick in "Deadpool 2".
Jones told Seth Meyers during an episode "Late Night with Seth Meyer" that she would love to play Wades sidekick and just feeding him back the lines Wade throws at him and citing that it could be "fun" to watch, Uproxx reported.
The 'SNL' comedian does not have a particular character in mind, but would love to have her own take and blend of comedy in "Deadpool 2" and how will Wade respond to her character if she gets casted in the sequel.
"Deadpool 2" is set to launch in cinemas on Jan. 12, 2018.
