There may be good news for some Soma-Erina fans as the two are expected to get closer in the upcoming episode of "Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma." Erina's change of heart will reportedly bring her closer to the amateur chef.

Erina's father Azami Nakahiri will be shutting down the Research Society operations after assuming his position as headmaster of the school. This will allegedly infuriate her daughter and will make her decide for a shift in alliances, Travelers Today reported.

The Polar Star Dormitory will be a threat to Azami as the group will finally decide to take Erina in. Erina will be joining Soma in battling down the newly implemented rules by Azami and in seeking the safety of the Totsuki Academy. As the two gets closer, Hisako will be revealing something about the female chef-aspirant.

Things will also get tougher as Etsuya Eizan will be closing down the Polar Star Dormitory. This will lead to a battle between him and Soma. As some fans fear the elimination of Erina in the Totsuki Academy, it will be the turning point of Soma to battle with all he can to avoid the scenario.

A new limited edition OVA of "Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma" will be released on July 4 alongside the publication of its 25th volume, Crunchy Roll reported. The report added the new OVA will feature a new anime episode tentatively titled, "Totsuki's Elite Ten." In the new chapter, the story will feature finalists competing for the Momijigari event.
