"Pirates Of The Caribbean" actor Johnny Depp known for playing the role of Captain Jack Sparrow was injured while they were filming in Australia.

According to Time magazine, the production of the movie started just a month ago and the star injured his hand while filming on set. Fortunately, the representative of Depp shares that his injury was not that serious and that the release date of the movie will not be changed, which is on July 7, 2017.

He was not injured while on set and he had to fly back to the United States for his injury. Due to this, the filming for the next installation entitled "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will be delayed for a few days but will not affect the overall production in a major way. This is the fifth installment of the film and it is being directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Ronning.

According to E! News, the injury of Depp came days after a man who went to the set and wanted to get past security as he was dressed like the character of Depp on the movie. The man allegedly pulled a knife on the security team after he was not allowed to get in the set of the film.

Police are now searching for the man who wore a pirate suit, had a parrot sitting on his shoulder, wore a black tank top, and had heavy eye make-up and long dreadlocks as he tried to imitate Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.

The man was able to fool other people and was able to enter the premises but the security guards were more keen so he was not allowed to go inside. The investigation is still ongoing.

Depp will be acting alongside Brenton Thwaites, Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario, and Golshifteh Farahani.
