Obama to encourage companies to share cyber threat data.

A woman from New York was confined for 8 days in a Long Island hospital's psych ward after making claims that US President Barack Obama followed her on Twitter.

All the drama happened last year when Kam Brock, 32, was trying to get her car released from the NYPD impound lot. As reported by Counter Current News, Brock was upset, but not, as the NYPD claims, emotionally disturbed.

Brock's BMW was impounded last September after New York Police thought she was high on Marijuana, reports the New York Daily News. Even though the police found no drugs on her, the car was still confiscated.

When Brock became emotional at the police station, she was allegedly sedated and taken to the Harlem Hospital for more than a week. When Brock told the doctors that Barack Obama followed her on Twitter, they apparently thought she was delusional and bipolar. Kam Brock said it was to show the doctors the "type of woman" she was.

Brock's ordeal at the facility involved injections of powerful sedatives and heavy medication. Her treatment plan read that she wopuld be released on the condition that "Patient will verbalize the importance of education for employment and will state that Obama is not following her on Twitter." The hospital also charged her with a bill of $13,637.10.

However, upon checking Brock's twitter account @AkilahBrock, she was indeed being followed by the account @BarackObama. Kam Brock is now suing the city for damages.

It should be made clear, however, that US President Barack Obama does not personally handle the @BarackObama account. Rather, it is being controlled by the staff of the non-profit organization Organizing For Action, which was formed out of the remnants of the President's 2012 campaign.
