"X-Men: Apocalypse" director Bryan Singer recently shared a short video from the set of the upcoming installment revealing some teasers in the film.

According to Comic Book, the short on-set video showed a villainous character wearing a blue cape. The publication also noted that the character, which was shown on screen for just a few seconds, greatly resembled Apocalypse.

Meanwhile, Fox will be holding a Comic Con panel on Saturday and it seems that Apocalypse will finally be introduced in the clip that will be shown. Fans are also speculating that it was actually Singer's intention to tease fans with the new character.

Singer's video, which he posted on Instagram, also teased the explosive battle that will be featured on "X-Men: Apocalypse." According to Screen Rant, the set that was shown in Singer's video was consisted of green screens, a large helicopter, and more.

Also, the publication added that it seems that the set was from the famous X-Mansion, which was has been destroyed and rebuilt several times in the comic books.

In other news, not much has been revealed about "X-Men: Apocalypse," but fans know that the third installment will serve as the conclusion to the trilogy. In recent years, two other "X-Men" films were released. The first one was entitled, "X-Men: First Class" and it was followed by "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to hit theaters in the United States this coming May 27, 2016. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Michael Fassbender, Olivia Munn, Channing Tatum, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner and more.
