The stars of the movie are Charlie Hunnam from "Sons of Anarchy" and Jude Law, reports Fashion & Style.

Beckham shares that he has 13 lines in the film which requires a lot of practice. To help him prepare for the role, Richie sent someone to rehearse with the retired athlete one hour daily. Although he admits delivering the lines was "nerve-racking," Beckham says everything went well, reports The Telegraph.

It is not the first acting experience for Beckham who was seen in 2014 in a cameo role in an "Only Fools and Horses" sketch for Sport Relief. He was also seen in the short film "Outlaws" with Harvey Keitel and "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."

Ahead before the movie is release, Beckham is preparing to read and hear criticisms of his acting, although as a professional athlete in his stint with Manchester United and Real Madrid as a midfielder, David has also been the subject of negative and positive feedback.

The 40-year-old says that he is aware that other athletes and other celebrities have tried acting but failed. He acknowledges acting is a tough profession and requires much skill and discipline. He adds, "But what I have done so far, I have loved. I can deal with most things. I am a well-known person, so I have got used to criticism."

While Beckham, who has four children, has retired from football, his boys are now into the sports. He brings them to Arsenal in the evening for training, with Romeo under a two-year contract and Cruz a one-year agreement.

Pressure is both on him and the two boys because many people recognize them. "If they misplace a pass, I hear people muttering: 'That Beckham kid is not up to much, is he?'" Beckham shares.
