A positive news for the fans of "Mega Man," as the blue bomber is finally coming back, not on the gaming industry, but as a television series. A logo which appeared to be the "Mega Man" 2017 cartoon show has been seen on the website Dentsu Entertainment USA, Inc.
According to Dentsu, DEUSA is currently making a new cartoon series based on Capcom's "Mega Man," and that the company has acquired the assistance of the creators of "Ben 10" in order to make the series an explosive one.
It cannot be denied that the "Ben 10" series made an impact in the cartoon industry. In fact, the game was even nominated in the Emmys, and did actually win its nominated category. DEUSA is set to launch the latest "Mega Man" TV series in 2017, a perfect timing for the 30th anniversary of the blue bomber franchise, Nintendo Life reported.
Although there is an upcoming TV version of "Mega Man," it is really unfortunate that Capcom might have ended the blue bomber's tour in the video game industry. It has been years, and yet the video game company is still not releasing an updated version of it. This is the reason why the confirmation that Rockman will finally return in the small-screen. Although, speculation suggests that if the cartoon performs well, then Capcom may consider creating a new game for "Mega Man."
On the other hand, it was not so long ago when Capcom released a statement that it would be entering the mobile gaming industry, and that one of the video games that the company will carry into the mobile gaming world is none other than "Mega Man," and hopefully, the game will redeem its popularity in the smartphone arena.
Capcom is clearly doing something to revive the franchise. Not only that the video game company is including "Mega Man" in their roster of mobile games, Capcom is also allowing the once very popular video game to re-enter the cartoon world. This may be an indication that fans may see a new "Mega Man" video game for PC and consoles in the near future.
