The production for the second season of "Sense8" is under progress and till now there is no news about the air date. However, fans can rejoice because the storyline of two major characters is set to take interesting turns in the coming season.
According to Buzzfeed, both Kala (Tina Desai) and Sun (Bae Donna) will go through testing times. While Kala will be faced with the prospect of a love triangle involving her ex and present fiancé, Sun is thirsting for her revenge and it is not going to be easy.
As fans know, Kala was forced to choose her fiancé Rajan (Purab Kohli) in the last season. She took the decision to marry him only because she wanted to make her family happy. But now it looks like she has decided to accept him whole-heartedly. An Instagram post shows an official photo of the second season in which Rajan and Kala are embracing each other.
Thus, it is pretty clear that she is trying to move on in her life. However, it does not mean the Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) track would end altogether. Desai revealed during the interview with the publication that the love story will continue with both boys.
As for Sun, the first season only gave an introduction about her character and she was seen getting into a lot of mishaps. But the second one will shed more light on her motivations. A detailed description is on the way as she is desperate to take revenge.
Meanwhile, Donna has confirmed this herself. The South Korean actress told the Soompi that Season 2 will be more of a detailed story. In Season 1, Sun was growing up and thus, was quite confused. Despite being physically talented, she had a soft heart. But this season will see her maturing into a strong individual, both physically and mentally.
Well, the science fiction show seems to be marching ahead on more adventurous territories. And given the "bolder and better" theme previously hinted at by Riemelt, one can only say that "Sense8" seems set to surpass the expectations of viewers.
