The midseason finale of "Once Upon a Time" featured the surprising appearance of Robin Hood. Aired on Dec. 4, the wish realm version of Regina's deceased lover was enough to stop her from entering the portal that would have taken her and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) back to Storybrooke.

Given the rare opportunity to have another chance for a happy relationship, Regina will consider bringing the wish realm Robin Hood to Storybrooke. "Once Upon a Time" showrunner Edward Kitsis shared in an interview with TVLine that coming up with the said plan would be a normal reaction for Regina.

However, if Regina becomes successful in coaxing Robin Hood to join her, she will have to face the consequences of her decision. Kitsis stated, "It wouldn't be a fun show if there weren't consequences."

The showrunner did not disclose the potential problems that Regina and Robin Hood may face in the upcoming "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 episodes. However, he hinted that one of Regina's immediate challenges would be to find a way to return to Storybrooke while evading the guards who are set capture her.

Meanwhile, the preview clip for the upcoming midseason premiere of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 featured several scenes that showed Regina and Robin Hood together. Posted on Comic Book Movie, the clip depicted Regina's eagerness to convince Robin Hood to travel back with her to Storybrooke.

Robin Hood appears open to the idea of starting a new life with her, however, it appears that Regina plans may not be successful. A scene included in the said preview clip showed Regina with a sad look on her face as she wiped away her tears.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will return to the small screens in March 2017. Watch a preview of the upcoming midseason premiere below:
